VILLA AIGLE
Transformation of villa
The aim of this project is to harmoniously integrate the villa into its natural surroundings, making it more discreet and enhancing its integration into the landscape. The villa's architecture is designed to blend into the surrounding landscape, emphasizing its horizontality through roof overhangs and suspended terraces.
The villa's base, after the foundations were reinforced, is clad in a red ochre stone, typical of the Estérel region. The color palette is directly inspired by the hues of the surrounding landscape, with a facade finished in a fine taupe-colored troweled plaster.
The windows and doors, made of anthracite gray lacquered aluminum, are double-glazed to ensure comfort and insulation. The anti-reflective tempered glass railings preserve the view while ensuring safety. The green roof helps the villa blend into its natural surroundings, while minimizing its environmental footprint.
The roof overhangs incorporate sunshade louvers, providing protection from the summer sun. Large openings maximize natural light in winter and facilitate cross ventilation for optimal comfort year-round.
BSO type roller shutters (adjustable sunshades) allow you to control the amount of light entering the room according to your needs, always in harmony with the anthracite grey joinery.
The green roof, composed of a mix of vegetation adapted to the local climate, not only camouflages the roof by seamlessly integrating it into the natural landscape, but it also plays a key role in the building's thermal efficiency. Thanks to its ability to absorb and retain heat, it provides significant thermal inertia, thus reducing temperature fluctuations inside the villa. This solution also contributes to enhanced insulation, protecting the roof against extreme weather variations, whether summer heat or winter cold. In addition to these thermal benefits, the green roof helps manage rainwater by absorbing some of the precipitation, while also promoting local biodiversity.
